Reinforced steep slopes for Khalifa Road in Qatar

Tenax Rivel is the reinforced soil system with more than 30 years of expertise in Worldwide projects.

Nowadays, for the first time in Qatar, Tenax Rivel provides an effective solution for road embankments in the Khalifa Road, Doha; this construction is among main infrastructures to host the Football World Cup in 2022.

Several ramps have been created with a maximum height of 14 meters for a total facade development of about 7,000 square meters.

To enhance the architectural insertion of the Rivel system and achieving an impressive result, the project includes different façade finishes: one vegetated with floral essences (63° slope) to create a green wall effect and the other with Corten steel panels (90° slope) to draw a weave along the entire surface.
