TENAX AVIARY is a polypropylene mesh designed for building poultry enclosures, aviaries, cages, and fencing for pets or farmyard animals.

During production, the netting undergoes a special stretching process in both directions of the weave. This treatment increases its tensile strength and tear resistance, while keeping the netting thin, flexible, and easy to handle.

Compared to traditional wire mesh, AVIARY is lighter to transport, cut, and install. Furthermore, it does not rust and does not require periodic painting or protective treatments. Its UV stabilization enhances its resistance to prolonged outdoor exposure and the elements.

The black mesh reduces the visual impact of the fence and can be used to enclose vegetable gardens, yards, farmland, and areas for animals. The mesh can also be used to cover enclosures and livestock pens, helping to keep out birds and other animals.

AVIARY is manufactured in Italy in accordance with TENAX’s expertise and quality standards and is available in professional rolls and convenient small rolls for DIY use.

  1. Measure the area to be fenced and determine the location of the posts or support structure.
  2. Gradually unroll the netting along the perimeter.
  3. Stretch AVIARY evenly, avoiding excessive tension.
  4. Secure the mesh to the supports using cable ties, straps, or TENAX accessories.
  5. Install fasteners closer together at the corners, ends, and points subject to the most stress.
  6. For horizontal roofing, install cables or intermediate supports to limit sagging of the mesh.

For a more stable installation, it is best not to use the netting as a standalone structural element: poles, frames, or cables must support the loads and maintain the proper tension.
