Fiberglass mesh, 3.8x3.5 mm mesh size, weight 160 g/m²

TENAX KAP/S is a heavyweight fiberglass mesh (160 g/m²), available in rolls of 1 x 50 m. The roll has two longitudinal strips placed ten centimeters from the edge to indicate the recommended overlap limit during installation. The TENAX logo is printed on the mesh, every linear meter, along the entire length of the roll.

The TENAX KAP/S mesh for external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) complies with the ETA (European Technical Assessment) certification issued by the TZUS Institute in accordance with EAD 040083-00-0404 (European Assessment Document).

The certification involves verification of the product's characteristics and performance and a system of continuous monitoring of the production process.

Prepare the underlying surface so that it is as smooth as possible.
Apply the first layer of plaster
Alternatively, glue the mesh to the underlying support.
Position the net, ensuring that the edges overlap by at least 10 cm.
Shave the finishing layer, completely covering the mesh.

A strip of reinforcement mesh must be applied at corners and openings. In areas around windows and doors, the mesh must be turned up and secured.
