Triplanar geocomposites with preferred flow direction

Tendrain triplanar drainage geocomposites are specifically designed for drainage and leachate collection in landfills thanks to their ability to ensure drainage under high loads.
They consist of a drainage net with three layers of overlapping and crossed wires: the thicker inner wires ensure high flow rate and compressive strength of the structure, while the transverse wires prevent intrusion of the geotextile in order to guarantee the design flow rate. Tendrain triplanar geocomposites maintain constant hydraulic capacity over time as they are not subject to compression creep.

Tendrain triplanar geocomposites can also be used as an anti-capillary layer for road, railway, or large area sub-bases: its structure resists the cyclic loads induced by the passage of vehicles, and the preferential channels convey water in the longitudinal direction of the product.
They are available with 1 or 2 separation and filtration geotextiles and can be laminated on the underside with a lightweight waterproof geomembrane (Tendrain cu) to supplement the underlying waterproofing: in the case of a compacted clay or bentonite geocomposite barrier, this helps to maintain the correct level of humidity and preserve the characteristics of the materials over time.

Tenax Tendrain drainage geocomposites are available in various types that differ in terms of flow capacity and lamination with 1 or 2 geotextiles (Tendrain/1 or Tendrain/2).
Tendrain 750cu is produced by laminating an upper geotextile and a lower lightweight waterproof geomembrane.
