Traditional geogrids and geocomposites for base reinforcement

LBO geogrids are specifically designed for soil base reinforcement; they are made of polypropylene (PP) using an exclusive extrusion system and subsequent bi-axial stretching to increase their tensile characteristics and ensure excellent resistance to damage during installation.

GT geocomposites are produced by industrially laminating an LBO geogrid with a geotextile: the geogrid provides resistance to the soil, while the geotextile acts as a separator and filter.

GT geocomposites are used when there is a need to separate and reinforce two soils with different grain sizes, thus preventing contamination between them.
