The Tenax T-Block system allows the construction of reinforced earth walls with block facing and is a valid alternative to traditional reinforced concrete walls; it can be used for the construction of retaining walls, road and railway embankments, and slope widening.
The T-Block system is dry-laid, requires no special labor or equipment, and can be used to create curves. The prefabricated vibro-compressed concrete blocks have an exposed finish, are available in different colors, and are connected to Tenax TT reinforcement geogrids using Tenax T-CLIP connectors, which provide a mechanical connection between the elements.
The Tenax T-BLOCK system requires no maintenance and has a minimum design life of 120 years thanks to its HDPE reinforcement geogrids and water-repellent, frost-resistant, and fire-resistant block facing.
The reinforcement element consists of Tenax TT geogrids, extruded in HDPE, which interact with the soil to improve its mechanical performance. The soil-geogrid structure combines the compressive strength of the soil with the tensile strength of the geogrid, thus creating a material with improved characteristics.
On the facade, T-Block vibro-compressed blocks, available in various colors, are mechanically connected to the reinforcement geogrids using T-Clip connection elements.
