Geocomposite with filtration and drainage functions and high hydraulic capacity, with a total weight ≥ 800 g/m² and a thickness ≥ 10 mm at 20 kPa pressure, obtained by industrially coupling a drainage core made of PP (polypropylene) cuspidated mesh and two filter layers (120 g/m² non-woven geotextile) in polypropylene (PP).
The mesh drainage core is obtained by extrusion and longitudinal and transverse stretching of polypropylene (PP). It consists of a flat surface with a regular open mesh of integrally connected elements, bonded during the extrusion process, with cusps at the intersections between the longitudinal and transverse elements that guarantee thickness, three-dimensional geometry, and compressive strength.
The geocomposite guarantees high levels of flow capacity under loads of up to 500 kPa and with very low gradients.
The cuspidated structure ensures, under loads of up to 200 kPa and with R/S (rigid/soft) boundary conditions, a flow in CMD (direction transverse to the main direction) of at least 40%.
