Net for growing climbing vegetables

TENAX HORTONOVA is the plastic net that has revolutionized the cultivation of climbing vegetables. It has replaced metal nets and iron trellises, as well as perishable materials such as bamboo canes and wood, traditionally used to create support and separation structures.

It is made from top-quality polypropylene and manufactured using an exclusive extrusion and bi-stretching process that ensures excellent resistance and durability. Suitable for all different cultivation techniques.

Lightweight and easy to install, UV-stabilized and resistant to bacteria, chemicals, and mold, TENAX HORTONOVA netting is ideal for growing climbing vegetables. It provides optimal ventilation, proper exposure to light, and more efficient use of space, improving both plant growth and harvesting operations.

The advantages of Made in Italy

The TENAX HORTONOVA net underwent accelerated aging testing in the laboratory.
The test simulated two years of exposure to an average radiation of 5500 MJ (Mega Joules) per m², corresponding to the climatic conditions of the Mediterranean basin.
The test results were extraordinary: the transverse thread retained 85% of its initial tensile strength, while the longitudinal thread retained 100% of its strength, showing no deterioration whatsoever.

The net is stretched vertically and secured to poles spaced 3-5 meters apart, depending on the preferred techniques, and arranged along the row of crops. Slightly raised off the ground, it allows the horticultural seedling to develop so that the plant can cling to and climb along the mesh of the Tenax HORTONOVA net.
