In an outdoor snail farm, fences are the most important structures necessary for the correct and economical management of production. They must prevent the snails from escaping, protect the farm from predators, divide the spaces according to the various stages of the snail cycle (birth and fattening) and facilitate the correct respiration of the mollusk.
TENAX ELIX PRO, a black monofilament woven net made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), has two flaps that prevent snails from climbing up and escaping from the farm, while also protecting the mollusks from birds.
The special UV stabilization process of the polymers reduces damage caused by sunlight, ensuring long life and proper ventilation. A properly constructed facility will require less presence by the farmer, resulting in savings on labor.
NOTE: The net has two horizontal flounces 14 cm wide sewn to the main net, the first 60 cm and the second 90 cm from the ground. The total height of the net includes the two flounces.
