In the heart of Milan, in the area of the former Alfa Romeo factory in Portello, a redevelopment project has been carried out that has seen the creation of three artificial hills. This work required innovative solutions to ensure the stability of the slopes and protect the soil from surface erosion.
To address these challenges, TENAX MULTIMAT R reinforced geomesh was used, a solution that ensured excellent slope stability and promoted rapid vegetation growth. The gripping structure of TENAX MULTIMAT R made it possible to retain significant thicknesses of soil, even on steep slopes, while its ability to protect against erosion helped to make the area greener and more sustainable.
This project also improved the aesthetic appearance of the area, blending in perfectly with the surrounding environment and promoting the creation of a public park that is now a landmark for the city.
