The Lessinio-Euganeo Berico Land Reclamation Consortium has begun restoration work on the L.E.B. canal in Belfiore (VR), with the aim of improving the safety and functionality of the irrigation system. During the intervention, the sand layer and metal mattresses were replaced with more modern and sustainable solutions, choosing the TENAX TENDRAIN 750/2 draining geocomposite.
This material was selected to guarantee adequate hydraulic flow and ensure optimal resistance under load. With the TENAX TENDRAIN 750/2 geocomposite, which has a higher water disposal capacity than previous materials, it was possible to maintain the stability of the canal banks while reducing construction time and environmental impact.
Furthermore, the use of other Tenax products such as the TENAX TENDRAIN 30 drainage geocomposite and the TENAX MULTIMAT 55 R reinforced geomat further improved the protection of the slopes and promoted vegetation recovery, supporting the intervention with solutions that promote long-term sustainability and efficiency.
This intervention has made it possible to optimize resources and reduce the use of traditional materials, confirming Tenax's role as a partner for innovative and environmentally friendly solutions in the remediation and drainage sector.
