Holidays in Egypt: fall in love again with the land of the Pharaohs
Between the ancient ruins of the Pyramids of Giza, cruises along the Nile, and the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea, Egypt offers everything you could want from a vacation: historical heritage, immersive cultural experiences, and relaxation. The million Italians who have decided to spend their holidays there know this well, and it is not difficult for us to believe it after contributing to the creation of one of the most exclusive resorts on Egypt's North Coast, along the western Mediterranean coastline.
Overlooking turquoise waters and white beaches of fine sand, Silver Sand is the ideal place for those who dream of a premium vacation combining privacy, contemporary design, and unspoiled nature. Sea-view villas, infinity pools, and green areas blend harmoniously into the landscape, creating a refined dining experience.
Here, days are spent swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, relaxing on the private beach, enjoying water sports, practicing yoga at sunset, and dining outdoors with views of the horizon. Spaces designed to alternate between tranquility and conviviality, striking a perfect balance between wellness and entertainment.
And while Egypt continues to attract travelers from all over the world, the North Coast now represents its most contemporary soul: the Mediterranean Sea, signature architecture, and high-end hospitality where luxury is not only aesthetic but also structural. It took 18 months of work to build dry stone walls up to 10 meters high covering a total area of over 30,000 m², using geogrids to increase the load-bearing capacity of the soil and ensure durability even in a saline environment.
Egypt continues to thrill visitors with its millennia-old history, but places like Silver Sand transform a vacation into an experience, an experience into emotion, emotion into memories, and memories into the most beautiful souvenirs to take home.
Italian tourism in Egypt is growing
In 2024, Egypt recorded a total of around 16 million international visitors, an increase compared to 2023, and the Italian market remained one of the main European contributors. Around 800,000 tourists arrived from Italy, a level considered to be in line with the best pre-COVID years.
In 2025, the country accelerated further, reaching nearly 19 million international arrivals, a record compared to the previous year: according to estimates and indications from Egyptian tourism authorities, approximately one million of these visitors were Italian tourists.
