PLURIMA

Mesh for harvesting fruits

DESCRIPTION

Extruded meshes for harvesting small fruits

Harvesting small fruits on the ground, such as olives, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and chestnuts, considerably affects production costs, in particular in terms of labour costs. Furthermore, fruits, and olives in particular, must not be left on the ground once fallen because they deteriorate quickly. The most convenient and cost-effective system to harvest these fruits is using plastic nets which are simply stretched out under the plants a few days before fruits fall.

PLURIMA is a light yet resistant square mesh, produced through the original TENAX process of extrusion and stretching of thermoplastic polymers.
In comparison with other extruded nets, TENAX nets have a reinforced mesh that prevents tears without affecting their softness.
Moreover, these nets are UV treated, therefore they are long-lasting and can be reused.

PLURIMA meshes, stretched out under trees, ease the harvesting of little fruits like hazelnuts, almonds and olives.

Many nets incorporate a selvedge that protects from tearing and also makes installation simple.
These nets are UV stabilised and resistant to chemicals to ensure a long durability.
