Permanent and semi-permanent loads spread over large areas:
Schematic example   BACK

The permanent load of the waste dumped in a landfill and the load of water in a reservoir   TENAX bi-oriented geogrids improve the bearing capacity of permanently loaded areas
The permanent load of the waste dumped in a landfill can produce settlements of the subgrade and consequently high stresses in the waterproofing layers.
The permanent load of the water in a reservoir may lead to premature failure of the waterproofing layers due to excessive settlements of the soft subgrade.

Several layers of TENAX bi-oriented geogrids significantly improve the bearing capacity of permanently loaded areas, like landfills and water reservoirs, thus greatly reducing settlements.

TENAX geosynthetics prevent localized failures and distribute the load over a larger area

TENAX geosynthetics prevent localized failures and distribute the load over a larger area: as a result the potential failure surface is deepened and the bearing capacity is increased.
