TENAX MS multi-layer
bi-oriented geogrids
TENAX MS is a polypropylene (PP) composite geogrid
obtained by combining a certain number of layers of one or more
geogrids: it’s a modular product that can be manufactured
with different strengths and properties that may be required for
any particular project. Standard geogrids are manufactured by combining
up to 5 layers of a lightweight flexible geogrids: the number of
strands allows for a very uniform distribution of stress conditions
very similar to the “root effect” therefore making TENAX
MS particularly suitable for the reinforcement of fine and weak
soils.
By combining a number of grid layers, a geogrid with considerable
resistance can be produced, capable of withstanding very intense
loads or of stabilizing soils having openings and cavities produced
by localized settlement (for example, Karst soils, permafrost, and
mining areas).
