				TENAX GEORAFT Foundation System The TENAX GEORAFT system is designed to allow the building of structures with rigid foundations on very soft and yielding soils. This is accomplished by using bioriented TENAX LBO SAMP geogrid (1) placed at the base, and a monooriented TENAX TT SAMP geogrid (2) capable of giving high tensile strength, which are laid vertically and joined to each other by a patented TENAX JOINT (3). Different configurations can be achieved such as a zig-zig or box shaped structure to a depth of 1.00 m. This confinement system is then filled-in with granular material.

				Applications: Foundations of roadbeds, embankments and earth dams
