TENAX NURAGHE geogrid/concrete
block System
The TENAX NURAGHE wall systems are based on the
integration of concrete blocks specifically designed for the wall
facade, with polyethylene geogrids used to reinforce the soil. The
blocks, generally laid on well-compacted soil, do not require mortar,
but are used dry and are joined to each other thanks to their unique
joint design. This process also ensures the drainage of water from
the back face of the blocks with no build up of hydrostatic pressure.
The TENAX NURAGHE blocks possess a tooth on the upper base and a
notch on the lower (so as to avoid slipping and facilitate installation);
a vertical male and female tail joints on the sides, and they are
tapered to allow for the convex facing walls. Each single block
face is cambered in order to improve the architectural effect.
