Weed control and mulching

Mulching is an ancient agricultural practice, now used also in gardens and vegetable patches, as well as for potted plants: without using chemicals, it prevents weeds from growing around cultivations.

TENAX has developed a wide mulching range of plastic films, covers and non-woven fabrics that, when spread around the crops, keep the moisture of the soil but block the light, so that weed seeds in the soil cannot grow and deprive crops of their nourishment. When using fabrics, it may be necessary to further cover them with bark, to prevent degradation due to sunlight.
